Semi-automatic loading system for loading and unloading with high safety standards
The semi-automatic STEWARD systems meet high safety standards to prevent the risk of injury in the open area in front of the ovens. The baked goods are manually placed in steps from the rear. Once an oven has been selected, all movements are performed automatically and with electric motor control: moving to oven height, entering the oven and placing the dough pieces, or removing the finished baked items at the end of the baking cycle, and returning to operating height.
WP STEWARD Pro
- Electric motor-controlled transfer to another oven, incl. dead man’s function.
- Centering in front of the oven by absolute measurement, electric fixation.
- Optional pick-up of dough pieces from feeding belt and delivery of finished baked goods onto delivery belt.
- Operation of up to 3 deck ovens.
- Workload reduction, no workforce reduction.
WP STEWARD Pro I
- Fully automatic operation without operator presence possible when the transfer area is completely fenced off.
- Traversing to another oven by electric motor control.
- Optional pick-up of dough pieces from feeding belt and delivery of finished baked goods onto delivery belt– precondition for maximum efficiency.
- While the loading system traverses sideways, the next dough pieces can already be prepared on the feeding belt.
- Operation of up to 3 deck ovens.
- Workload and workforce reduction: 1 to 1.5 staff members required for the entire system.

- Fully automatic operation without operator presence possible when the transfer area is completely fenced off.

Performance, maximum benefits and modular options
- Safe speed of movement: max. 0.1 m/s.
- Electric motor-controlled movements in front of the oven for loading and baking.
- Dead man’s function: for reasons of safety, traversing in front of the ovens is only possible by pressing two buttons simultaneously.
- Shut-off guards underneath the loading system immediately stop the lowering movement upon contact.
- Traversing area must not be fenced off.
- Endless belt for ergonomic operation from the rear and stepped loading.
- Baking residue extraction under the loading latch during loading and baking (optional)
