Cem Gündüz: Yes. Although the system runs at full capacity, the staff still takes the time to clean it regularly. You can only produce superior quality with equipment in superior condition. The bakery has a deep understanding of system technology.

That’s not always the case. . .

Cem Gündüz: Very true. But this is what we are here for. When the system stops working in the middle of the night, the most obvious causes, which have nothing to do with the system itself, are sometimes overlooked. That’s when you have to keep your calm and be clear and organized with your questions. It makes it easier to identify the problem and figure out a solution.
 

Always on call. Always living up to the baker's expectation to find a solution. Is that a burden or a source of motivation?

Cem Gündüz: Being able to help is a fantastic feeling and still a great motivation to get up early in the morning.
 

Even after 21 years at WP Service?

Cem Gündüz: Every day is different, and I simply love the challenge.
 

What's on schedule for today?

Cem Gündüz: I set out from Telfs in Tyrol this morning. My first client is scheduled in Winterthur at 08:30 a.m., and then I’m heading to Davos. Quite a nice tour.
 

You look after many businesses in the Alpine winter sports regions. What are their requirements for WP Service?

Cem Gündüz: Well, they know they cannot afford any production downtime and thus invest in regular maintenance and preventive replacement of wear parts. But when the system is down, every minute counts and we will provide assistance as soon as possible on the day.
